Excitement in the air

We were setting up AIM on Megan's computer and added my dad to her buddy list for video chat while we're in Europe. We started talking about us leaving and he said something we found to be hilarious:
It's like your father's fantasy come true...an international airport, my lovely daughter-in-law...the both of you excitedly clutching your passports...and an array of fine luggage strategically placed around your persons with envious family members lookin on!
Glad to know that we have family just as excited about our trip as we are!!

Traveling Template

We're not big fans of this template, we've tried searching for something "European" but can't seem to find anything that we think is good.  If you are bored and want to try to hunt something down, feel free.

Our Apartment

We were given a couple of options on apartments in Germany.  Here is the one we chose...the Germans I am working with have yet to confirm, but assuming it is still available, this is where we will be living!  There is no picture of the kitchen because it doesn't exist yet...but it is going to be built in before we get there.  This apartment looks even better than we were expecting...especially with the nice patio and yard!

Europe, here we come!

Welcome to The Kuhl Europass!!  (Thanks for the name idea, Emma!)  We thought this would be a good way for family and friends to keep up with everything we're doing while we're living in Germany for four months.  For those who may not be aware, I am an accounting analyst at E.ON, the power company in Louisville, which is a German-owned company.  They are sending me to work in Germany for four months to get a better understanding of the company as a whole.  Ben and I will be there from May 1st to September 5th.  We plan on doing a lot of traveling while we're there of course, so check back often to stay updated on our travels!
