Unpacked and Settling In

I finally unpacked today...I know, I know, it's about time.  I know there are already pictures of the apartment earlier on the blog, but it is a little different since they put a kitchen in for us, so I thought I'd post some updated ones.  This is just my side of the wardrobe (those are sliding black doors), along with the luggage and a couple of things of Ben's...he has the other side, which is just shelves...and mainly empty compared to what I packed!  This wardrobe is really nice and big though, so we have plenty of storage.  There is even a server/hutch thing in the next room with lots of drawers we don't even use.

In the same room as the closet is the kitchen...clearly, this used to be the bedroom (you'll see in a second what I mean by that).  There is a little sink, 2 burners, and a little fridge under that.  There are 2 stools for the bar, except they are really unsteardily made, and Ben bent the first one he sat on...oops!  We went to the grocery tonight since we've been eating out every meal, but still only bought some cereal and yogurt for breakfast (and fresh milk!) and a few snacks (cheese and crackers we've never had before, and tons of chocolate).  We've been enjoying trying new food every night, so we haven't made our own dinner at home yet...but I'm sure we will eventually.  I eat lunch at a cafeteria at work every day, usually around 3 euros for a huge meal, so I doubt I'll ever pack a lunch.

And finally, I few shots of the dining room/bedroom/living room...see what I mean about them moving the bedroom??!  No big deal though...at least we have the kitchen.  There are doors behind those curtains that lead to a patio table and chairs, too, with a tiny yard and flowers that we are supposed to water, which reminds me, I haven't done that yet...oh well, it's been raining anyway.  Ben finally broke out the Wii and is playing some Tetris here.  Oh the joy of technology!
