We did a ton of walking today. We went to Königsallee, which is basically like the "Rodeo Drive" of Germany...it was early in the morning though, so nothing was open yet. We also found within probably one mile of our apartment several fruit, vegetable, and meat stands to buy fresh food, a couple huge grocery stores, and a place to do the laundry. We bought these wraps called döner kebaps for dinner and ate them at a table outside the store on the cobblestone streets. The streets were PACKED with people. Then we went and got the most delicious icecream, walked along the Rhine River, and sat on a ledge dangling our feet over the water. I think I can get used to this... :)

Louis Vitton--my kind of place! do you have a tv?
ReplyDeleteMom
We do have a tv! We even hooked the Wii up to it, but we haven't played it yet.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to do some shopping while I'm there! Are the prices better there?
ReplyDeleteNo, more expensive I think...but fun to window shop :) And we should definitely buy some chocolate.
