Destination: Düsseldorf

We left yesterday at 2:03 PM and arrived this morning in Dusseldorf at 7:30 with all 5 pieces of our luggage and two laptops. It was a 7 hour and 20 minute flight, we each slept about 2-3 hours so right now I'm about to crash and Megan's sleeping already behind me.

When we got here we were outside the apartment at about 7:45 and couldn't get in till 11 for the guy to show up with the key. We hid our luggage in one of the other buildings and went exploring (view our map). We stopped at 2 bakeries, walked around the park which was simply beautiful (Megan will probably post more about that later) and walked through Old Town which was full of pubs and other places to eat. We'll be heading back there for dinner for sure! For now, it's time for a nap...

Oops, almost forgot. We've setup a food gallery and map so you can see where we've eaten the food. Click the "Food Gallery" link on the left side of the blog.

  1. AWESOME! Breakfast looks amazing - and that would be how I gained 10 pounds in 1 month in Poland :)
Will you put your apartment location on the map? Sounds like you all have already done a lot of exploring! Let us know if anyone is watching the Derby in a pub over there.
